DeWitt police investigate stabbing at trailer park

DEWITT -- DeWitt police are investigating a stabbing at a trailer park.

It happened around 8:35 p.m. Sunday at Folands Trailer Park at 407 North Midler Avenue.

Police were called to the scene for a report of a person reportedly being sprayed with mace during a fight. When they arrived, they found a man had been stabbed.

34-year-old Alvin Beaudion suffered multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

34-year-old William Cavalier, of 407 North Midler Avenue Lot M040, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in the Town of DeWitt Court and sent to the Justice Center in lieu of $10,000 cash/bond.
