CORTLANDVILLE, CORTLAND CO. -- State police need your help tracking down a driver in a hit and run accident in Cortlandville.

It happened around 10:48 p.m. Friday on Interstate 81 in the Hoxie Gorge Bridge area near Mile Post Marker 47.

Police say a pedestrian was standing outside his car when he was struck by a car. Investigators say driver didn’t stop and kept driving southbound.

Police say the vehicle involved may be a grey Volvo with a missing passenger side mirror.
