SYRACUSE -- A worker has been taken to Upstate University Hospital after he was burned in an early morning fire.
Fire crews were called to 116 Granger Street around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a fire at a business.
District Chief Mark Zoanetti says the business was starting its daily processing when workers noticed a small fire. All of the employees were evacuated, but one of them was burned on the arm and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Zoanetti says the fire was small, and crews were able to put it out by putting a lid on cans that were burning.
Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
