Power outages expected in Solvay

SOLVAY -- The Village of Solvay Electric Department has scheduled power outages for various times September 22nd through September 30th.

The temporary outages will range from 15 minutes to two hours.

Village of Solvay Electric Superintendent, John Montone, told CNY Central that the reason for the power outages is to allow workers to safely work on the Mathews Ave. Substation Rebuild project. The project aims to provide better electrical service.
