Injuries not life threatening
SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents, and need your help in tracking down the suspects:
Saturday afternoon a man drove himself to Crouse Hospital with a chest wound. Thomas Aaron, 26, from Syracuse, says the suspect was in his car, at Beattie and Salt Springs Road on Syracuse's East Side, at about 2:10pm, and that he was shot as the man was getting out of the car with his cell phone. The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, 5'9", 130 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt and a dark-colored baseball cap. Aaron's injuries are not life-threatening.
Saturday evening, a marked police car was at a traffic stop on East Colvin Street and Garfield Avenue, on the near South Side, when the officers heard a shot. About 7:30, they were approaced by 16-year-old Tialithea Pille, who had been shot in the foot. She could not give any information on a suspect and the officers could not find any evidence on the shooting. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
