CICERO -- Several accidents are forcing to the State Department of Transportation to make changes to a Cicero road.

Due to a high number of crashes, the state DOT is making changes on Pardee Road at the intersection of Route 31 in Cicero.

Beginning tomorrow, traffic heading southbound on Pardee Road will no longer be able to turn left onto Route 31 eastbound. This left turn restriction is being enacted due to several accidents involving southbound left turning vehicles.

New signs will permanently direct drivers trying to access eastbound Route 31 to Carmenica Drive to Lakeshore Road, where they can turn left onto Route 31.

The DOT will also change pavement markings and make signal modifications at the intersection.
