SANDY CREEK, OSWEGO CO. -- An Oswego County woman is in serious condition after she was thrown off a motorcycle. 

It happened Monday around 4:10 p.m. on County Route 15 in the Town of Sandy Creek.

A 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling west on County Route 15 when it went off the road and burst into flames, according to a press release from the Oswego County Sheriffs Department.

Sheryl Cough, 54, of Pulaski was found unresponsive at the scene. She was transported by Onondaga Air 1 to Upstate University Hospital. As of late Tuesday morning she remains in serious condition. 

No tickets have been issued. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
