WILLIAMSON, WAYNE CO. -- A Williamson man is facing charges following a disturbance at a migrant camp.

Wayne County Sheriff's deputies say 46-year-old Delfino Mendoza-Huesca, of 5200 Lake Road, got into an argument over food with another resident at the camp on Lake Road in the Town of Williamson.

While the victim wasn't looking, deputies say Mendoza-Huesca pulled out a knife, stabbing the person. The victim, a co-worker, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Mendoza-Huesca is charged with assault. He was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and sent to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.

He's scheduled to appear in Williamson Town Court at a later date.
