SANDY CREEK, OSWEGO CO. -- The Pulaski woman injured in a motorcycle crash last week has been ticketed.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say 54-year-old Sherry Cough, of 262 Rainbow Shores Road, was issued tickets for driving out of class and crossed official/hazardous road markings.

Deputies say Cough was operating a 2011 Honda motorcycle westbound on CR 15 in the Town of Sandy Creek around 4:08 p.m. last Monday when she failed to negotiate a turn west of Buchanan Place, losing control and flying into a ditch and striking an embankment on a driveway.

Cough was ejected from the the motorcycle and the bike caught fire. Cough was found unresponsive at the scene and was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital. Deputies say driver inexperience appears to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
