NORTH SYRACUSE -- More than two months after he died, friends of Logan Goncalves still don't know what caused his death. Tuesday would have been Goncalves 16th birthday and his friend Jonte McCall organized a small vigil at Kennedy park in North Syracuse to remember him. McCall said Goncalves always enjoyed spending time at the park with his friends.
The bodies of Goncalves, 22-year-old Anthony Patla and 28-year-old David Quinn were found in a Parish home on July 23rd. Police said all three suffered gunshot wounds but haven't said if those wounds were what killed them.
On Tuesday, Oswego County Undersheriff Eugene Sullivan said investigators were still waiting for a final autopsy report and final lab tests on materials from the house.
McCall said he just wants to know what happened to his friend and that the long wait for information has been difficult.
"I'm like totally speechless. Law enforcement has not given us any answers and that is all we want. We want to know what happened back there so we can get some closure," said McCall on Tuesday night.
