Remsen man accused of raping child

UTICA -- A Remsen man is accused of raping of a child under thirteen.

New York State Police say they arrested Hector Perez, 41, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a female child less than thirteen in Utica.

According to police, Perez is a registered level 3 sex offender.

Police say the victim is receiving services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Perez was arraigned in Utica Court and remanded to Oneida County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
