MARTINSBURG, LEWIS COUNTY -- State police charged four men with criminal possession of marijuana.
Police say the arrested Jonathan R. Lucas, 20, Justin M. Lyndaker, 20, Matthew R. Payne, 19, and Daniel L. Cannan, 18, for criminal possession of marijuana.
According to police, the arrest was made following a vehicle stop in on Gardner Road September where police found 1.25 pound of freshly harvested marijuana.
The vehicle stop was made on the same road in Martinsburg where police made a separate arrest for a pot growing operation later that month.
The four were arraigned in the Village of Lowville Court and were released with further court proceedings scheduled for a later date.
