WINFIELD, HERKIMER COUNTY -- A Syracuse man is dead following a car motorcycle accident in Herkimer County.
It happened Sunday around 1:40 p.m. on State Route 20 in Winfield, according to State Police.
A motorcycle driven by David Sadowski, 60, was traveling eastbound when a truck turned left in front of the bike. Sadowski and a passenger, Lois Sadowski, 57, were thrown from the bike, according to investigators.
David Sadowski was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lois Sadowski suffered internal injuries and was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
The investigation is continuing. No tickets have been issued at this time.
