SYRACUSE -- There are more job cuts at an East Syracuse company.

Saab Sensis says it is eliminating 72 positions. Most of those were workers who volunteered to leave, but some were laid off Thursday. The company is not releasing details on exactly how many people are getting pink slips.

A spokesperson says Saab Sensis is "restructuring our operations as a result of challenging market conditions and realigning our organization to increase efficiency."

Sensis was taken over by Saab AB in August. The company says these job cuts are not related to Saab's future plans for the company.
