SYRACUSE -- An SUV was rear ended by a bus transporting handicapped passengers Friday morning.

Sergeant Gary Bulinski of the Syracuse Police Department says a 2004 Mercury SUV was rear ended by an A&E transport bus when it stopped in traffic on I-81 North near the East Adams exit ramp.

The bus was carrying four handicapped passengers along with the driver and aid.

Two passengers, a 25-year-old and 43-year-old, were transported to Upstate University Hospital as a precautionary measure. There were no obvious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 50-year-old male, was transported to Upstate University Hospital with complains of neck pain.
