A Syracuse couple has tied the knot after waiting 52 years.
Frederick Marvin, 91, and Ernst Schuh, 89, were married on the steps of Syracuse City Hall. The marriage was officiated by Mayor Stephanie Miner.
The two met in 1959, when Marvin was touring through Europe as a concert pianist. Schuh became his manager. They moved to Syracuse in 1968 when Marvin was hired by Syracuse University.
Several dozen people attended Friday's marriage ceremony. Schuh says he hopes their relationship can serve as an example for other couples.
"You don't need to be divorced three or four times during your lifetime. It's not necessary," says Shuch. "We're like anybody else. We're not different."
We met with the couple before their wedding to learn a little bit more about them. Watch that story here.
