JUNIUS, SENECA COUNTY -- A Watertown man was arrested for allegedly punching a woman in the head.

According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Chad D. Hartman, 36, was arrested Sunday after allegedly punching a woman in the head while she was holding a 2-year-old child.

Deputies say that Hartman allegedly threw a beer can and hit a woman in the head during a domestic dispute. Hartman then punched the woman in the forehead.

Deputies say Hartman was charged with menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and attempted assault.

Hartman was arraigned in the Town of Junius court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2500 cash $5000 bond.

Hartman is scheduled to reappear in court on October 20.
