UTICA -- A Utica man is accused of robbing a bank.

It happened around 12:20 p.m. Thursday at the NBT bank on Genesee Street.

Police say 28-year-old Joseph Hill, of Howard Avenue, robbed the bank and then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was caught a short time later.

Hill is charged with third degree robbery, a felony.

The investigation continues.
