SYRACUSE -- Thousands of Orange fans will descend on the Carrier Dome tonight as the Syracuse University football team takes on West Virginia. The game will be carried live on ESPN at 8 p.m.
The Carrier Dome will open its doors for Orange fans at 6:30 p.m.
S.U. faculty and staff will be exiting the lots at Manley, main campus and west campus parking at the end of their work day. To avoid congestion, Dome patrons with parking passes for those areas should not arrive until after 5:00 p.m. Football game parking in these lots will not be honored prior to 5:00 p.m. Fans who would like to arrive earlier can go to the Skytop parking lots where all parking passes will be valid.
Fans should also take note of two important parking changes:
- All day-of-game parking is at Skytop, unless the patron already has a parking pass for main or west
- Parking at Skytop is $12 and includes a shuttle to and from College Place on the east side of the campus. Shuttle bus service will start running at 4:00 p.m. Shuttle bus service to Gate A for patrons with disabilities will start running from Skytop at 5:00 p.m.
Except for team and staff busses, no busses will be allowed in the West Campus area. All busses must park at Skytop. Bus parking is $40.
