SENECA FALLS -- State Police are investigating an incident at the Cayuga Nation Headquarters in Seneca Falls.

Troopers say a driver backed a pick-up truck into the building on State Route 89, on the west side of Cayuga Lake. Officers tell CNY Central someone then tried to steal files from the building. Police say they are still trying to sort out what files may be missing and who they belong to.

Officers have one person in custody. No one was hurt in the crash.

CNY Central reached out to Lakeside Trading, right nearby. Employees there said they were not able to comment.

We have a news crew on the way to the scene. Stay with NBC3 and CBS5 News, along with CNYcentral.com for updates as they come in.
