SYRACUSE -- An armed robbery in Syracuse sent four to local emergency rooms with gunshot and stabbing wounds.
According to Syracuse Police, they responded toUpstate Hospital around 10:05 p.m. Sunday after two stabbing victims walked into Upstate Hospital Emergency Room.
Police say Ronald Neverson, 48, was stabbed in the back and Antwain Anderson, 29, was stabbed in the leg. A third victim, Richard Escobar, was being treated for a head injury.
Police say they were then notified by Crouse Hospital that a gunshot victim walked into the Crouse Hospital Emergency Room around 10:15 p.m. When police arrived, they located Korey Beckwith, 27, who had been shot in the leg.
An investigation revealed that the four victims were injured during an armed robbery at the South End Auto Shop located at 1005 South Ave. in Syracuse.
According to police, the victims were at the South End Auto Shop around 10:00 p.m. Sunday when three or four masked suspects allegedly entered the shop and demanded money from the occupants before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing the scene on foot.
At least one suspect was armed with a handgun and other others are believed to have been armed with knives.
