SYRACUSE -- A student from Henninger High School in Syracuse is in custody after showing off a BB gun on school property.
Police say Brian Bonner Jr., 19, skipped class, then got into an argument with two students near the bleachers. Officers say during the confrontation, Bonner showed the students a gun.
Police later found Bonner at his home on Ashdale Avenue. They also found the gun there.
Bonner has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. He is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow.
Police say the BB gun never went off, and no one was injured.
