WATERLOO, SENECA CO. -- A Waterloo man is accused of sexually abusing a one-year-old girl.

57-year-old John Marko, of 3004 Owasco Drive, is accused of engaging in sexual activity and sexual contact with the girl in the Town of Waterloo.

His arrest stems from a four day joint investigation by Seneca County Sheriff's deputies and Seneca County Child Protection Services.

Marko is charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and was sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.

The court issued orders of protection for an adult and other children involved in the investigation.
