BROWNVILLE, JEFFERSON CO. -- Two men are facing charges in a burglary in the Jefferson County Town of Brownville.

40-year-old Frank Snyder, of 410 North Main Street in Mannsville, and 28-year-old Bobby McNitt, of 24 Jerry Look Road in Richland, are charged with third degree burglary, a felony.

State police say they entered a vacant home at 17002 Witt Road on October 18, stealing metal and copper from the property. The home was owned by Eugene Rowe.

Police say Snyder and McNitt were found stealing scrap metal again from the property October 25.

Snyder was arraigned in the Town of Rutland Court and sent to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail. McNitt was arraigned in the Town of Brownville Court and released on his own recognizance.
