ROMULUS, SENECA CO. -- A Bath man drove his car into a small Romulus pond while driving under the influence.

According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Erik J. Sullivan, 33, was charged with driving while intoxicated early Wednesday morning.

Deputies say Sullivan drove a 2006 Chevrolet Impala off the east side of State Route 414 and into a ditch, before continuing into a small pond.

Sullivan was checked by South Seneca Ambulance at the scene. No injuries were reported.

Sullivan is scheduled to appear before the Town of Romulus on November 4th.
