Wine, beer, sauces and marinades, meats, cheese, ice cream, baked goods, honey, maple products---are you hungry yet?
The Pride of NY Harvest Fest will offer tastes, as well as chances to 'buy local' and live entertainment, too.
Dan O'Hara, State Fair Director, says it's a way to see the best from 100 growers and producers, and one attendee will also get a 'Pride of New York Basket of Bounty.'
The Syracuse edition is Saturday (Nov 5) 10- 5, and Sunday (Nov 6) noon -5pm) at the State Fairgrounds Horticulture Building (there's another in Saratoga Springs later in November). TICKETS are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and include a complimentary wine or beer glass. You can get them at the Fair administration building, or by calling 487-7711 or downloading an order form at the Fair website
