GRANBY, OSWEGO CO. -- A Fulton man is facing charges in a deadly crash that killed his own father.

26-year-old John Pendall Jr., of 307 Rathburn Road Lot 19, is charged with vehicular manslaughter, manslaughter, reckless driving, driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with over a .08 percent BAC and speed not reasonable or prudent.

The charges stem from the deadly crash on September 15 on Rathburn Road in the Town of Granby.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say Pendall Jr. was driving a car when he lost control, slamming into a tree. His father, 46-year-old John Pendall Sr., a front seat passenger, was killed.

Pendall, Jr. was arraigned in Granby Town Court. He was sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000.00 bond. He's to re-appear in the Granby Town Court on November 10.
