FLOYD, ONEIDA CO. -- Six people are facing charges in a home invasion in the Town of Floyd.
It happened around 2:20 a.m. on October 29 at the Wilber Mobile Homes on Old Floyd Road.
Oneida County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an assault at the trailer park. The caller told 911 dispatchers the suspects came in with bats and guns, assaulted the people inside and demanded money.
Deputies later arrested 21-year-old Joseph Salerno, of Mary Street in Frankfort along with 23-year-old Daniel Matys, of Linch Ave. in Utica and 23-year-old Chad Cherubin, of Texas.
Two of the victims were treated for their injuries, and one was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
The three suspects were arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court on burglary charges and sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 cash bail or bond.
Investigators also arrested 20-year-old Brandon Wilson, of Kernan St. in Utica, 21-year-old Travis Anderson, of Taylor Ave. in Utica and 26-year-old Robert Reynolds, of Route 69 in Oriskany. They're all charged with burglary and were sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 cash bail or bond.
The six defendants are scheduled to appear back in the Town of Floyd Court tomorrow.
