Donations requested for high school girls
Ask any parent of a high schooler how expensive a prom dress is, and you'll get an earful. Which is why Cayuga Community College's Tutor Club, which works with high school students, is holding its third annual prom dress drive.
Marin Valentino, with the club, says they're collecting formal, semi-formal and bridesmaids dresses as well as other gowns.
The donations will be cleaned and sorted, then put on sale at CCC this spring, with any profits to be donated this year, to AIDS Community Resources.
Dresses can be dropped off at the Auburn Campus Main entrance, or at the Academic Support Center, until November 23rd.
