SENECA FALLS -- Two men are facing charges in a fight in Seneca Falls.
It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday at Bull's Run Grille and Ale House at 6 Ovid Street. When police tried to question one man, he took off, leading officers on a foot chase. 21-year-old Aleem Whitfield, of 148 William Street in Geneva, was arrested after allegedly resisting and failing to comply with officers orders.
When police went to question another man, he also took off on foot, leading police on a chase. 21-year-old Troy Randleman, of 70 West Ave. in Geneva, was eventually caught and allegedly started fighting with officers. One Seneca Falls police officer injured his knee in the scuffle. He was taken to Geneva General Hospital for treatment and later released.
The trouble had stated earlier in the evening. Police say Randleman got into a fight outside, ran back into the bar and threw some glasses on the floor, then ran into the kitchen where he was found hiding under a pizza oven.
Randleman is charged with assault, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, harassment and disorderly conduct.
He's currently on parole and was released from state prison in July. He was arraigned on the new charges in Seneca Falls Town Court and sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. He's due in court on November 10.
Whitfield is charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He's due back in court November 14.
