LISBON -- A Lisbon man is charged in the death of a puppy.
State police say 31-year-old Frank Cushing struck an 8-week-old pit bull puppy in the head repeatedly. Police say the assault happened after the puppy had defecated on Cushing's floor.
The puppy was treated at Canton Animal Clinic where it died from its injuries.
Cushing was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Lisbon Court on November 22.
