UTICA, ONEIDA CO. -- An Illion man is charged with raping a child.
32-year-old Thurman Dixon, of 33 West River Street, is accused of having sexual intercourse with a girl younger than 13-years-old. He’s charged with rape, a violent felony.
State police say the rape happened in Utica back in February.
Dixon was arraigned in Utica City Court with bail set at $30,000. He was then sent to the Oneida County Jail.
