ELLISBURG, JEFFERSON CO. -- State police need your help tracking down whoever stole CSX railroad anchors in Jefferson County.
It happened between November 4 to November 11 at CSX railroad tracks property between County Route 91 and State Route 178 in the Town of Ellisburg.
Police say the thief made off with approximately 2,300 railroad anchors valued at approximately $3,800.
A CSX spokesman says the theft didn't cause any threat to the rail service or the public.
