UTICA (AP) -- State officials say Arizona-based Valutek, a manufacturer of cleanroom supplies, will relocate its corporate headquarters and operations to the campus of the SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome. The move will create 25 jobs.

Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver says the move is part of the growing partnership with the Albany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.

Valutek will relocate its corporate headquarters, quality testing laboratory, and specialized manufacturing and distribution center from Phoenix to SUNYIT over four years.

Cleanroom supplies include gloves, wipers and other apparel and items needed in carefully controlled environments.

Valutek President Greg Heiland says the company will be the newest corporate partner at the Computer Chip Commercialization Center at SUNYIT.
