SYRACUSE -- One of the men accusing Syracuse University Associate Coach Bernie Fine of sexual abuse is responding to Jim Boeheim's statements.
On Sunday at 10:00 a.m., ESPN's "Outside the Lines" aired more of an interview with 39-year-old Bobby Davis.
"Boeheim wasn't there (at the house)," said Davis. "I don't know how he can say that...he wasn't there...how can they tell people he (Fine) didn't do that to me? You weren't there. The guy (Fine) hurt me a lot, and he's hurting other people. I just want him to get help, I want him to stop."
"I have kids of my own," said Davis through tears. "I can't imagine if someone did this to my kids."
He told Schwarz he spent at least ten nights in hotel rooms alone with Fine, and that Boeheim saw him whenever he answered the door.
It's believed this latest interview was taped before the Syracuse vs. Colgate game on Saturday. Davis told Schwarz he has not watched any TV coverage of the allegations.
According to ESPN.com, the alleged abuse started in the mid-1980s and lasted for more than a dozen years. Earlier in the week, Davis told ESPN's "Outside the Lines" that he was entering the seventh grade at the time it started. The other alleged victim to have come forward is Davis' stepbrother, 45-year-old Mike Lang.
Davis told ESPN Fine allegedly molested him beginning in 1984 and that the sexual contact continued until he was around 27. A ball boy for six years, Davis told ESPN the alleged abuse occurred at Fine's home, at Syracuse basketball facilities and on team road trips, including the 1987 Final Four.
Lang, who also was a ball boy, told ESPN that Fine molested him starting while he was in fifth or sixth grade.
Head Coach Jim Boeheim faced TV cameras for the first time after Saturday's win against Colgate to address the claims against Fine.
"I've said everything I needed to say. And probably more than what most people would like me to say but I'm very confident that I have taken the right stance, said the right things and now we will let this thing play out. And whatever the results are, the results are," said Boeheim.
Bernie Fine says allegations that he molested two former ball boys for years are "patently false."
