UTICA -- The Utica Police Department is thanking the person who helped bring a fugitive into custody.
Stephen Dineen was arrested early Tuesday morning on Genesee Street in Utica. He has a history of domestic violence and was wanted for a violation of probation.
Someone spotted Dineen and called police. Officers arrested him after he climbed out a basement window and tried to run away.
