Jeffrey Coker, 34, told police he was attacked by four males
Police are looking for information into an alleged robbery and shooting Monday night along South Townsend Street in Syracuse.
SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police need your help finding four men allegedly involved in a robbery and shooting.
In happened Monday around 9:30 p.m. along the 1100 block of South Townsend Street in Syracuse.
Jeffrey Coker, 34, told police he pulled over to use his cellphone. Moments later, he was attacked by four black males, according to a press release from Syracuse Police.
At least one suspect entered Coker's vehicle and ripped a diamond earring out of the victim's ear, said police.
As he tried to fight off the suspects, Coker said he was shot by one of the men in the arm.
Coker fled the scene on foot and flagged down a Rural metro Ambulance at the corner of South Townsend and East Adams Streets, according to police.
He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
