GOUVERNEUR, ST. LAWRENCE CO. -- A Gouverneur man is accused of raping a young girl.
Gouverneur police say 19-year-old Eric Wood-Delgado, of 51 Dale Road, engaged in sexual acts and sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl. Police say it happened between November 21 and 29.
But that's not all. Police say he used his cell phone to send nude photos and sexually explicit messages to the girl's cell phone.
Wood-Delgado is charged with rape, criminal sex act, disseminating indecent material to minors and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court and sent to the St. Lawrence Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
