SYRACUSE -- A man found dead in his Syracuse apartment this week was not murdered. That's according to the autopsy done by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office.

45-year-old Richard Daniszewski, of 600 E. Willow St. Apt. 23, was found dead in his apartment on Wednesday. The apartment building is on the corner of Willow and North Townsend Streets, near the OIP Pizza Shop and the Colonial Laundromat.

Police say it appears he had been dead for an extended period of time before his body was found.

The exact cause of Daniszewski's death is still unknown pending toxicology tests. Police have called his death suspicious.
