CORTLAND CO. -- A McGraw man is accused of driving drunk and crashing his car twice.
Just before 2 a.m. this morning, Cortland County Sheriff's deputies responded to the parking lot of Smoking Mule on Route 13 in Cortlandville.
Deputies say 22-year-old Andrew Stiles, of 4154 North Road, drove drunk, crashing his car twice. He was found North of Vernon Drive in the City of Cortland. Police say Stiles tried to take off after the second accident. He was eventually arrested and taken to the Cortland County Sheriff's Offices where he was released to a third party.
Stiles is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08 percent or higher, failing to keep right, failure to use designated lane, speed not reasonable and prudent and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
He's scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court on January 9.
