PALERMO -- A Liverpool man is accused of having sex with a young teenage girl.
31-year-old Timothy Ritschel, of 4819 Bear Road, is charged with rape, criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.
State police say they spotted Ritschel having sex with the 14-year-old girl in a parked car in the rest area along ST-3 in the Town of Palermo on December 3.
When troopers spotted the car, the lights were turned off and it appeared no one was in the car. But when the trooper stopped to check the car, he allegedly found Ritschel in the back seat with the girl, both partially dressed.
Ritschel was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
