ITHACA -- Firefighters in Ithaca spent much of Tuesday evening at Cornell University in Ithaca.

Tompkins County 911 dispatchers say a fire sparked in a barn on the campus shortly after four o'clock. Cornell officials say it was a storage barn holding hay and feed near the corner of Pine Tree Road and Snyder Hill Road.

Two barns nearby do hold horses. Firefighters were able to protect those buildings while they got the fire under control. So far there have been no reports of any injuries.
