MCDONOUGH, CHENANGO CO. -- A McDonough man is accused of forcibly touching a girl under the age of 17.

39-year-old Paul Jackson is charged with forcible touching, aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Chenango County Sheriff's deputies say Jackson forcibly touched a girl under the age of 17 in her private areas. He's also accused of sending the girl threatening text message not to tell anyone about what happened.

Jackson was arraigned in the Town of McDonough Court and sent to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $700 cash bail. He's scheduled to be back on court on December 22.
