BALDWINSVILLE -- A local school received an emergency inspection early Wednesday morning after several students reported feeling ill.

According to Baldwinsville School District spokeswoman Kelly Cary, a Durgee Junior High School student experienced a medical condition that required the use of an ambulance.

Additionally, several Durgee students reported feeling 'light headed and faint' while attending first period class. The district says the school grounds were inspected by staff members and medical personnel, but they did not detect any environmental causes which may have made the students feel sick.

The district says the students were all examined by a school nurse, and classes at the junior high school resumed in the middle of the second period.
