We've received word of a tribute to the life of 17 year old Taylor Fleming. Principal Ted Tim Bednarski tells CNY Central that at 2:00 on Thursday, December 22nd, students will gather around the flagpole at the entrance to Cicero-North Syracuse High School.

Bednarski says Flemings classmates will launch 100 balloons in memory of the popular student who died as the result of a tragic car accident earlier this month. Bednarski says the gesture is intended to give the grieving students a better sense of closure.

Fleming's car was hit by another car as she attempted to cross Northern Boulevard at Totman Road on December 8th.  She passed away four days later.

Taylor Fleming's family donated her organs so that others may benefit from her life.
