SENECA FALLS -- A Seneca Falls man is accused of selling and trying to sell drugs, including heroin.
48-year-old Ronald Manino, of 38 Spring Street, is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Seneca County Sheriff's deputies say Manino had thirty individually packaged baggies of heroin with him when they pulled him over on Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo. Deputies say he intended to sell the heroin in the Waterloo and Seneca Falls areas.
Investigators say Manino also sold a quantity of a narcotic drugs known as "opana" or "oxymorphone" on two separate occasions in November. The drug is commonly used to treat cancer patients.
At the time of his arrest, Manino also had an active bench warrant in the Seneca Falls Town Court for failure to pay fine on a harassment charge.
He was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. Manino is due back in court on Friday.
