LIVERPOOL -- Five people were taken to the hospital after a one vehicle in Liverpool.

Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies say a Jeep was traveling westbound on John Glenn Boulevard in Liverpool Monday night when the driver said she hit a patch of black ice. According to deputies, the driver went struck the left guardrail, crossed the road into the right guardrail, and flipped over.

Five people were in the car. Deputies say everyone got out of the vehicle except the driver, who had a hip injury and had to be taken out by rescue workers.

All five people were taken to the hospital, and deputies say none of the injuries are life threatening. It appears the hip jury is the most serious.
