SYRACUSE -- Two Syracuse residents are facing charges after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman during a fight Tuesday night.
According to Syracuse Police, around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a fight in progress with a weapon on the 200 block of Massena Street. While on the scene officers were told by a woman that the occupant of a nearby vehicle had pointed a gun at her. The alleged victim pointed out the vehicle, which was pulled over on West Onondaga Street shortly thereafter. As a result, police say they have arrested 21-year-old Jaquell Bailey of Massena Street and 20-year-old Melliesha Fields of Glenwood Avenue, both in Syracuse. Bailey is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor menacing. Fields is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
Both suspects were remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center after arraignment Wednesday in Syracuse City Court.
