NEDROW -- Two Onondaga County teenagers are facing charges after police say they robbed a man on Christmas Eve.
According to State Police, on Saturday night around 9:20 Troopers and Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call about an alleged robbery on South Salina Street in the Town of Nedrow. Police say the victim, a 31-year-old unidentified man, was walking down the street when he was reportedly accosted by two teens. The boys, aged 13 and 14, allegedly got into a physical altercation with the man before stealing his wallet.
Police say they searched the area and located the teens, who were each arrested on a felony robbery charge. They were released to their parents, and are to appear in Family Court on an unspecified date. The names of the suspects were not released, but police did say they are from Nedrow.
Police say the robbery victim suffered minor cuts and bruises during the incident.
