Community's first came 3 hours later
Crouse Hospital has won the 2012 first baby race.
Ella Marie Strine was born at 7:36 am and weighs in a 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Ella's parents say she was born one day early, but are excited she's here.
The second baby born in Syracuse happened at Crouse, too -- less than five minutes later.
Community's first did not arrive til 10:34am, and by late morning, St. Joseph's had a woman in labor, but no baby yet.
